Jeremiah 2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

The Two Ways of the First Century

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 The world is unprincipled. It's dog eat dog out there! The World doesn't fight fair. But we don't live or fight battles that way - never have and never will. The tools of our trade aren't for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the strusture of life shaped by christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.

1 Timothy 2:3-7 God wants not only us, but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we’ve learned: that there’s one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us—Jesus, who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out. This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.
